OOTD: Canadian Tuxedo + Pop of Color

Hi, I’m Kelly or Kale Me Kelly to those who follow my Food & Fitness blog! I’m a native Atlantan and have a strong passion (or love affair) for all things food and fitness related! Through my journey, I’ve realized how essential proper nutrition and maintaining an active lifestyle are to creating the body you’ve always wanted! I love the diverse Atlanta food scene, and am always on the hunt for the best queso the city has to offer!

Whether I’m getting my tuck on at Pink Barre or other fitness studios in Atlanta, I love mixing it up when it comes to my workouts! Being a lady of balance, I’m a firm believer in indulging in moderation. And as co-founder of Girl Talk Series, an empowering movement for ladies, it’s a dream to create events for ladies in the Atlanta community to connect with like minds and create a support team of fabulous women!

I’m a huge denim lover. HUGE! So, when I’m not at the office, you better believe I’m out and about in my skinny jeans. I also love finding new ways of pairing denim on denim (aka the infamous Canadian Tuxedo) with different accessories. It’s my go-to weekend look during Spring!

Last weekend, I headed over to Athens to spend a little QT with my younger sister and photographer extraordinaire (she actually shot these)! I felt like I was in college all over, as we walked around UGA’s campus. Beautiful place to be this time of year!

The thing I love about this look is how easy, yet how timeless it can be! I decided to show off the same look, but change up the shoe. These Oka-B ballet flats are so fun! Their colors are unique and for a tall girl (I’m just shy of 6 feet), I love being able to throw these on and run out the door.

Whether you’re running errands or enjoying a lovely weekend out of town, Oka-B’s flats are the perfect addition to any outfit! I will definitely be packing a pair (or three #overpacker) next month when I head to San Francisco!
