Tierney from Fashion to a T is back to show us how to transition from summer to fall with tassels!
Hi, friends! My name is, Tierney Didier and I write the blog, Fashion to a T. Fashion to a T’s mission is to help the everyday woman get the most out of her closet, identify staple pieces, and to be a trusted style adviser.
I fell in love with fashion at a young age. Being raised in Florida my shopping purchases were more geared to sundresses, bathing suits, and sandals. Since moving to Atlanta in 2007, I’ve broadened my wardrobe horizons to incorporate layers, day job attire, and active wear.
Is it spring or is it fall? Oh…’Tweener weather. So the good news is… navy and tassels are in year round and these fun Oka B flats have been getting me through the brutally hot Atlanta weather and the start of football season.
I think it is important to invest in clothing that can be worn year round or at least in the in-between weather while seasons are transitioning. The items I am wearing in this post can all be worn in spring and fall. I love this Splendid dress because it is lightweight and long-sleeved, best of both worlds. On warmer days the sleeves can be rolled up. As for this wool Fedora, it is season transitional because of the material and light color. And last but not least, Oka B’s Easton tassel flat is perfect for Gator games and/or a stroll on Atlanta’s BeltLine. What are your favorite transitional pieces?
